NEW PALTZ – Some are heading to graduate school. Some will go job hunting.
Some are traveling. And some are coming back home.
Nearly 1,900 State University of New York at New Paltz undergraduates set off into the next phase of their lives following Sunday’s commencement ceremonies.
Another 522 graduate degrees were conferred Friday.
“Life is a journey, an amazing, painful, uplifting, debilitating and inspiring journey,” said attorney, best-selling author and 1988 New Paltz graduate Regina Calcaterra during her commencement address. “Because no story is worth reading without the protagonist being challenged, how will you challenge yourself?”
