Glen Head, NY: Teens Gotta Believe, North Shore High School

Regina will again join the North Shore High School community for it’s 3rd annual Teens Gotta Believe 3v3 basketball tournament to benefit You Gotta Believe. In 2016, after reading Etched in Sand, then North Shore High School junior Ryan O’Day was inspired to help older foster children find forever homes. So Ryan contacted Regina with the concept of organizing a fundraiser for You Gotta Believe, an organization that works to get older foster kids forever homes – which resulted in the 1st and 2nd annual Teens Gotta Believe 3v3 basketball tournament benefits. In an effort to continue Ryan’s vision, as he is now a freshman at the the University of Miami, three North Shore High School juniors Matthew Saltzman, John Labbate and Jack Rosencrans have stepped up to continue the annual Teens Gotta Believe benefit.

To join Matthew, John, Jack, their fellow teens and the North Shore High School community on April 28, 2018 at North Shore High School, 450 Glen Cove Ave., Glen Head, NY please go to Teens Gotta Believe and sign up to participate in the day’s event and help give an older foster youth the opportunity to have a forever family. Regina will serve as the keynote speaker and available for book signing throughout the day. Both Etched in Sand and Girl Unbroken will be for sale on site.
