The Oxford Writing Festival is an opportunity for members of the Oxford community, including Miami students and faculty, to create, share, and celebrate writing. The Festival is run by the Students for the Promotion of Writing, a Miami University student organization, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at [email protected].
WHERE IS THE FESTIVAL?
Oxford, Ohio is about halfway between Dayton and Cincinnati and the home of Miami University. For specific event locations, take a look at the event schedule, which will have more specifics.
WHO CAN COME?
Everyone! The festival is open to readers and writers of all ages, so invite your friends, beg your parents, plan a field trip! If you’re interested in bringing a large group and would like to work with us to make the best experience for your group, we’d be happy to help, just shoot us an e-mail and we’ll see what we can do.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
You may want to bring paper and a writing utensil in case you’re inspired or want to remember something specific, but otherwise you just need to bring yourself–and a few friends!
HOW MUCH DOES THE FESTIVAL COST? Nothing. The festival is free for all!
